Wetwork Redacted
Tyrus Drake's first ride.
Outlaws!
Happy upcoming Thanksgiving to the US crew. If you are one of those weird Hatlanders (Canadians live in the US’s hat) who thinks Thanksgiving is in October then just call it belated.
I have once again overloaded myself. I’m going to attempt to have two stories done in about the next two weeks, and that is going to be a challenge. November is a hard month in general, and this year has had its share of struggles. My father’s death was on 11/20, now four years ago. That day also happened to coincide with me getting laid off from the day job last week. I’m not alone, with my large telecommunications employer giving the axe to over 13,000 positions.
It’s going to be an interesting transition, not working for a company I have been with since 2014. From 24 to 35 years old, I was hired almost right out of college. Change, however, brings opportunity, and starting in December will give me much more time to write.
It’s also a surprise release day!
Wetwork Redacted is live!
Auric is a character I’ve played and written for years. He’s been a Planeswalker, a woods scout, a demigod, and an assassin. This version of him feels like great starting point for introducing all of you to the Bloodstone Mercenaries. I’ve written this trio unpublished for over a decade. It’s just Auric for now, but James and Araris are not far behind.
Part James Bond, part Savages, Swan Song is a violent gritty tale of an assassin taking down human traffickers.
Auric SummerIsle is a stone cold killer, a metal head, and a blood soaked Robin Hood. Supported by a cast of resourceful and well connected women, Auric accepts a contract to bring a reckoning to two of the underworlds most notorious crime bosses. Steal the drugs, kill the monstrous cartel lords, and rescue any victims he can.
The problem? It’s convention season, and the whole trafficking world is gathering to celebrate their money, and flex their power. Even with the support of Lana’s succubi, and an avenging Angel, can Auric wage his one man war on the predators who cross the line even hardened killers hold sacred?
You can still expect vicious fights, complex characters, and my signature snark from a Tyrus Drake story. This just allows me to keep it all on the page. If you are in the mood for extreme violence and spicy love scenes, Tyrus Drake aims to scratch that itch.
So stop reading my ramblings and go get it!

Adding another “must read” to my TBR…
Sorry to hear about the layoff, Outlaw. Happy to see you're staying strong, though. 🫡 And good luck with your Drake tales. 🤞
